Ciptadana, one of the leading financial brokers in Indonesia, is seeking experienced PHP developers to help build our next generation online platform. This is a contract position with the potential to go permanent. The division is growing rapidly and so this is an ideal time to join early. The position is located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Reimbursement for this position ranges from Rp 8,000,000 up to Rp 12,000,000 after incentives based on the qualifications of the applicant.
I.PHP Web Applications DeveloperQualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in - Mathematics, Computer Science degree or equivalent experience is required
* 3-5 year experience with open source experience in developing web applications with PHP
* Has worked with content management systems (Drupal, PHPNuke, Joomla)
* Framework development experience with PEAR
* Has experience developing and delivering a large web application through its lifecycle of versions 1, 2 and beyond
* Has extensive knowledge of LAMP based development
* Familiarity with Bugzilla and CVS or Subversion
* Strong understanding of basic web skills (D/HTML, CSS and Javascript)
* Comprehensive experience working with MySQL and UNIX/Linux
* Experience working with Web Services (XMLRPC, SOAP) in a highly scalable, highly available environment
* Working knowledge of Web servers (Apache, Light tpd)
* Working knowledge of relational databases (primarily MySQL)
* Must be an excellent written and verbal communicator
Plus Factors (stuff that would make you preferable):
* Familiar with AJAX (XML and Javascript)
* Has experience working on Linux
* Has worked on Open Source projects
* Working knowledge of Adobe Flex Builder, Adobe Air or Sproutcore

II. J2ME Mobile Applications DeveloperEssential Skills and Qualifications:
* BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* Highly-motivated individual with over 1 years of relevant experience, who is able to learn quickly and execute independently
* Sound knowledge of software engineering practices
* Strong Java programming skills, multi-threaded application development and object-oriented programming
* Development for J2EE application using JSP, JSTL, EJB, STRUTS, SPRING, VELOCITY, Hibernate and HTML, using JAVA, JBOSS, TOMCAT, Sybase/Oracle and coding with ECLIPSE under Linux and Windows
* Experience with Apache Velocity and Jakarta is a plus
* Working knowledge of network programming and protocols such as HT TP(s), POP, SOAP and IMAP
* Knowledge of SQL and relational databases and developing applications using Hibernate
Additional Assets:
* Experience building high performance, scalable, server-based applications and services, is a strong plus
* Working knowledge of asynchronous programming such as java.nio is additional asset
* Experience with Apache Tomcat, Servlets, Webservices a plus
* Some PHP, Perl experience will help you stand out
* Experience with XCode and Objective-C is a HUGE plus.
